Artisans Landscape, Inc, was founded in 1994 and has designed and built hundreds of gardens in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Owner Elliot Goliger began his career as a gardener at a landscape company in Greenwich, Connecticut while attending college in New York. In 1986, he moved to San Francisco and studied botany, architectural design, plant identification, and ornamental horticulture at San Francisco City College, and Autocad at the San Francisco Institute of Architecture. For over 2 years, Elliot was an arborist and gardener for the City of Daly City, before beginning his own tree care and landscaping business. Elliot brings his love of nature to his customers' backyards, and is an avid hiker, skier, and mushroom enthusiast.
Elliot has been a ISA certified arborist since 1994 and is a licensed general, landscape, and tree pruning contractor. He is a certified tree risk assessor, and is a Director and CFO of Bay Area Arborist Cooperative. Artisans Landscape Inc. has been the recipient of the prestigious Sunset Western Living Award and has been featured in Sunset Magazine. The company has maintained high ratings with Diamond Certified for over 12 years.
